Special congrats go out to Vincent Martinez for winning our Summer 2010 Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii Tournament. There was some great competition but Vincent pulled through to take home not only the title of Champion but also a sweet 8GB iPod Touch! Congrats, Vincent!
And coming in a close second was Joe Martinez! Joe received a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Wii. Congrats, Joe!
Many thanks to all who attended the Finale Gaming tournament as well as everyone who came out to each of the branch tournaments. Chances are, you are reading this blog post in a Teen Center at an Austin Public Library branch. If you are, it’s your lucky day!
Did you know your Teen Center has laptops to check out?
You need to be 12-16 years old, have a library card with no more than $10 in fines, and have a parent/guardian with you the first time you sign up.
You can use the laptops anywhere in the library! Just don’t take ‘em outside.
You can check out the laptops for 2 hours at a time.
More questions? Ask your Teen Librarian!
